The Redstripe Anthias (Pseudanthias gibbosus) is a marine species of the family Pseudanthias. The genus name, Pseudanthias, is derived from the Greek words "pseudes," meaning false, and "anthias," referring to a type of fish, specifically the Sparus aurata. This tropical, reef-associated fish can reach a maximum size of 20 cm. Its natural habitat is primarily within the 🌊 Western Indian Ocean, notably including the 🌊 Red Sea.
