Marine angelfish are members of the perciform fish family Pomacanthidae and are primarily found in the tropical Atlantic, 🇮🇳 Indian, and western 🌊 Pacific Oceans. These fish species are diverse, with around 86 distinct types belonging to seven genera. It is crucial to differentiate marine angelfish from their freshwater counterparts, the tropical cichlids that inhabit the Amazon Basin.
