Ancylomenes longicarpus, commonly referred to as the long-arm cleaner shrimp or anemone partner shrimp, is a shrimp species distributed from the 🌊 Red Sea to the Western Pacific. This species is characterized by a diminutive size, with a body length reaching up to 2.5 centimeters, and a distinctive transparent appearance accented by white and purple spots on the tail, as well as a white line situated between the eyes. Ancylomenes longicarpus frequently associates with coral genera such as Xenia and Plerogyra, as well as with anemones including Entacmaea quadricolor and Heteractis crispa.
