The Basket Star Shrimp, scientifically known as Lipkemenes lanipes, is characterized by its brownish coloration with distinct light bands and measures approximately 1 cm in size. This species is commonly found in shallow coral reef environments, frequently residing in association with Basket Stars. Its sustenance is largely reliant on the cleaning process of these echinoderms. The Basket Star Shrimp is nocturnal, exhibiting its primary activity during nighttime hours. It is indigenous to the Indo-West 🌊 Pacific Ocean region.
