Hemigymnus sexfasciatus, commonly known as the 🌊 Red Sea thicklip wrasse, is a marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Labridae, which includes the wrasses. This species is endemic to the 🌊 Red Sea, with anecdotal reports from the 🌊 Gulf of Aden and Socotra (🇾🇪 Yemen) warranting further validation. It is typically found in sheltered coral reef environments and sandy areas with rubble, inhabiting depths ranging from 1 to 20 meters (3.3 to 65.6 feet).
