Garden eels

The Congridae family encompasses a diverse group of aquatic species, including conger and garden eels. Congers, known for their considerable size, hold significant commercial value as a popular food source. On the other hand, garden eels live in colonies and display a unique behavior of extending from the seabed, resembling plants within a garden. This family comprises an extensive array of over 180 species distributed across 32 genera.
