Coryphaena

Coryphaena belongs to the genus of dolphinfishes, comprising the sole known genus in the Coryphaenidae family. The genus derives its generic name from the Greek words κορυφή and -αινα. Remarkably, species within this genus possess heads that are compressed and single dorsal fins that span the entire length of their bodies.
