Gymnothorax punctatus, a species of moray eel, inhabits coral reefs within the 🌊 Red Sea. The species was first described by Marcus Elieser Bloch and Johann Gottlob Schneider in 1801. It is commonly referred to as the 🌊 Red Sea whitespotted moray or the whitespotted moray.
