The idea behind every SeaTouch is that you do not learn a new camera. Your phone goes in, the flexible membrane passes your finger through to the screen, and underwater you use the same camera app, the same slider and the same third-party app you already know. No buttons to memorise, nothing to configure.

The 6 Pro is rated to 60 m (196 ft) and takes phones up to 180 x 82.5 x 11.2 mm with a camera bump no thicker than 17 mm, which covers iPhone 12 through 18 and most large Android flagships. Measure yours before ordering rather than after.

It weighs 475 g (16.8 oz) empty and about 760 g (26.8 oz) with a phone in it, so it is a real piece of kit in the hand, not a pouch. A red filter for shallow water is in the box, which is the part most people have to buy separately elsewhere.

What it does not do is turn a phone into a camera with a big sensor. In good light over a reef at 10 m it is remarkable. At 30 m on a wall in the afternoon it is still a phone.
