A housed camera cannot be opened between dives without rinsing and drying it properly first, so the practical answer on a two-tank day is a charged spare and a swap on the boat rather than mid-trip charging. Cold water and constant screen use drain this size of battery faster than the spec sheet suggests. Two is the sensible number for a liveaboard.
