The reason a HERO ends up on so many dive boats is not the sensor, it is that every mount, filter, tray and light in the shop already fits one. 5.3K60 gives room to crop a steady frame out of a drifting one. Waterproof to 10 m (33 ft) as it comes, which is a snorkeling depth rather than a diving one, so a dive housing is part of the real price. Use a red filter below about 5 m or the whole dive comes back blue.
