The Bandfin Scorpionfish (Scorpaenopsis vittapinna) is a venomous marine ray-finned fish classified within the family Scorpaenidae, commonly known as the scorpionfishes. This species is distributed across the Indo-Pacific region, ranging from the coastal waters of 🇿🇦 South Africa to the 🌊 Red Sea, extending eastward to 🇵🇫 French Polynesia, and reaching as far north as 🇯🇵 Japan and south to 🇦🇺 Australia. It typically attains a maximum length of 8.5 cm (3.3 inches).
