# Hypselodoris Ghardaqana (*Hypselodoris ghardaqana*)

**Taxon:** Nudibranch (*Nudibranchia*)

Hypselodoris ghardaqana is a distinct species of sea slug, classified as a dorid nudibranch within the marine gastropod mollusk family Chromodorididae.

Originally described from specimens found in the Red Sea, this species has also been documented in the Indian Ocean.

Notably, Hypselodoris ghardaqana bears a close resemblance in coloration to Hypselodoris pulchella, although it features fewer spots on its mantle. This similarity is believed to be a case of mimicry, as the two species are not closely related.
