Sepiadarium kochi, widely known as the tropical bottletail squid or Koch's bottletail squid, is a type of cuttlefish notable for its compact size, with a mantle length that can reach around 3 centimeters (about 1.2 inches). This species is found in the Indo-West Pacific region, occupying waters from India all the way to Japan, and includes the Indo-Malayan area in its range. As a demersal species, it lives near the seafloor at depths of up to 60 meters (approximately 197 feet).
