# Rousseaui Seaurchin (*Microcyphus rousseaui*)

**Taxon:** Sea urchin (*Echinoidea*)

The species of plant reaches a maximum length of 5 cm, with short needles and distinctive zigzag-shaped stripes. These stripes are devoid of needles, providing a unique visual pattern. This plant is typically found in two main habitats: on pebbles or in grass, and on rocky shores. It thrives at depths ranging from 10 to 30 meters in the ocean. While it is not a common occurrence, this plant has been observed in various locations, including the Red Sea and along the coastal regions from Oman to Eastern Africa.
