Ancylomenes longicarpus, also known as the long-arm cleaner shrimp or anemone partner shrimp, is a small and fascinating marine species found from the Red Sea to the Western Pacific. This species is noted for its petite size, reaching up to 2.5 centimeters (about 1 inch) in length. Its body is mostly transparent but is distinguished by white and purple spots on the tail and a notable white line between the eyes. These shrimp often form partnerships with certain corals, such as Xenia and Plerogyra, as well as with anemones, including Entacmaea quadricolor and Heteractis crispa.
