# Triplespot Chromis (*Chromis trialpha*)

The Triplespot Chromis (Chromis trialpha) is a tropical, marine species that is reef-associated and non-migratory, typically found at depths ranging from 3 to 50 meters. This species can reach a maximum length of 6 cm. 

Adult Triplespot Chromis primarily inhabit caves, ledges, and thickets of black coral on steep slopes. They are oviparous, exhibiting distinct pairing during the breeding season. The eggs are demersal, adhering to the substrate, with males responsible for guarding and aerating them. 

This species is found in the Western Indian Ocean, specifically in the Red Sea.
